The ASF files the 442 uses play just fine in BSplayer (and automatically at the correct ratio).

Anyone who doesn't have BSplayer, its http://bsplayer.org/index.php?p=download (free version is on the bottom).

BSplayer will use the codec with DirectShow priority to play your files so assuming you have your codecs set up correctly XviD will be played with the XviD codec DivX by the DivX codec etc. unlike VLC which uses an internal FFDShow decoder.
