[edit] "Developing New Market"
We have been playing with the recorder for other purposes. We successfully hacked the original remote so that the recorder could be intitiated into recording without someone being present. We have since furthered that design by manufacturing what we call, "a digital lance remote" for the recorder. We want to strap this recorder, the lance remote, helmet cam and battery pack to a police officer, maybe a skydiver, a racecar, a fisherman, the list goes on......We want to give you the tools to operate this little gadget, hands free, to record all those special moments in life.

[edit] "Wallet Videos"
I use the Recorder to capture content from my MiniDV camcorder of my daughter. I've probably shown it to 200 people, whenever anyone asks about your kids, you have a 30 video you can whip out. It's really pretty neat, and so much better than a photo or something. Every couple months I pull out a new clip from home video and it's nice to watch on the road when you're missing them.

[edit] "Glider Videos"
I use the recorder on a low power connection to receive video from a wireless camera mounted on the wing of my Glider. This allows me a no-moving-part capture of video, including low power consumption. Since the wireless camera is fairly low quality, the quality of MPEG-4 Recorder is perfect.
