I'm a fairly typical geek. I run Slackware almost exclusively. I have an 80GB N2, a Recorder, a 442, and an OSD Developer Sample. I stay up every night to check the Woot and I spend about half of my disposable income at ThinkGeek. I believe very strongly in Open Source and it's ideals and philosophy. This is part of what drew me to Neuros (and the fact that it's one of the few decent digital audio players that support OGG Vorbis).
[edit] My Development Environment
Look how pretty that OSD looks!!! Also in the picture is the damn DVC90 that I use to view OSD's output. Still haven't fixed the weird corrupted image though. That bowl with the hot sauce is something I made last semester in a jewelrysmith class. I thought it was useless but it looks pretty good with hot sause packets in it. The business card in the corner is Lynne Corddry's (she's the VP of RedHat). And ofcouse, the life-blood of any true pirate... RUM! You can see the beautiful bottle of my favorite rum (Malibu Mango), but unfortunately that bottle is empty. Please send me more. Pirates are useless when they're sober (we've all seen proof of this in those Disney movies). Now stop wasting your time reading this and churn out some more code for the OSD!
