Given the name, you know you're in for a treat.

This is the moment you have all been waiting for! We are finally underway with our "Buy Worthless Junk- Help EFF" series of auctions on eBay, where 100% of the proceeds go to Electronic Frontier Foundation

So the idea is that our office is a big mess. Mostly this is because we're a bunch of slobs, but in part its because we have a lot of old prototypes, manufacturer's samples and other "stuff" lying around. Combine this with the fact even though we've consulted with attorneys until we wished we were dead, and paid legal fees that would choke a horse, we continue to live in constant fear of getting sued by the man (because as you know, the man likes to sue people).

Anyhow, the point is we decided that maybe we could kill two birds with one stone. Get rid of our "stuff" and butter up the EFF, so that they'll come to our rescue if we find ourselves in the man's crosshairs.

So anyway, we have samples of all kinds of stuff: samples from vendors, prototypes, etc. some of it is great stuff that you can find nowhere else, some of it is worthless (but still very very collectable and you'll want to bid it up anyway)

But you were going to donate to EFF anyway, right so what's the difference? Think of these like the worthless gifts you get from public radio and TV if you donate. Well, you get the idea.

anyway, this will occur at random times so I created a new category you can RSS, because you won't want to miss a single one of these once in a lifetime offers! Questions?

So here's the "worthless junk" Blog
